A great light to read by. The only noticeable point of concern is the lack of consistency in the color temperature of the LEDs. Some are of a "hotter" color temperature than others, but this difference is only noticed when looking directly at the LEDs themselves. There is no discernible mottling of color in the light shown onto surfaces - the light pattern is fairly even despite the LED temperature variation. The light produced is still "warm" and desirable over the cool white LEDs.

Update (4/17/2011): I have downgraded the review to 3 of 5 stars. After light usage since purchase, the light has lost the ability to operate in two of the four brightness settings. I now only have dim and full-brightness. The operating modes that do not function still must be "clicked through" in order to get from the lowest brightness to the highest. Something internal to the power regulation circuitry must be burned out or otherwise not functioning. Thankfully the two settings used most often are still operating. Having known this prior to my purchase I might have looked elsewhere for a reading/task light.
