Easy to install with basic plumbing skills. Works as advertised. My existing shower/tub had old washer type controls so rather than replace them I turned them on full, used a short piece of clear tubing to hold up the diverter on the spout and used a tee to feed both sides of faucet from the digital valve. Works great and we can still use the tub by just removing the plastic tube holding up the diverter on the spout. I mounted control near the back of shower space so it was out of the wet-zone. Not sure why you would want it under the shower head as shown in delta descriptions. Great product for new installations and in my opinion a good way to get many years of service out of the old faucets with great looks but old technology. No more fiddling with old valve to get the temperature right. Even seems to correct for temperature changes when toilet flushed during shower.
