We installed this in our laundry room and it's a great sink. We didn't get the metal around the rim.Note that you have to buy a trap for it, that costs another 200 bucks! So, keep that mind when purchasing the sink.
It also sits a bit low and you can't adjust it higher than the trap allows, since the metal trap holds it up.
Despite this, I would buy again. Really cool sink.
