The Root floor lamp is the perfect mate to the Root table lamp. Exclusively designed by Kathy Kuo, it is inspired by winter branches of the forest. Finished in a dark rustic brown, it is topped with a dark linen soft back shade. Measuring 66.5-InchH by 24-InchW it requires a 150-Watt 3Way Edison base bulb. Due to hand crafting, no two are exactly alike.

We like the lamp stand, which is solid and sturdy, but we have replaced the brass socket and cradle with brown to match the color of the oil rubbed bronze. The brass is really a poor aesthetic choice by the manufacturer in our eyes. The shade is a quality shade, but we replaced that too just because it was a bit big for our purpose and tastes. We expected to get a different shade when we order it, however, the brass was a disappointment because there were no photos showing this detail ... which I recommend the manufacturer or supplier looking at lampsplus's website to see how to give the customer detailed photos of a product.
