This lamp is very well made, and though it's not possible to tell from the description or the picture, the assembly of the lamp is easy and allows for a degree of adjust-ability that isn't advertised though it should be. By inserting the lengths of the stem further into each other, the overall reach and height of the lamp can be changed so as to make it fit in nearly any space. Very well designed and very modern.

I ordered this item through amazon prime and only received two of the three packages that make up the lamp. I am still waiting for the base to arrive, almost three weeks later. Amazon has been working on getting it to me, but it has been a nightmare to deal with. For this reason I have to recommend that you purchase this lamp elsewhere. It's the first bad experience I've had dealing with amazon.
