I was looking for a unique lamp for my living room. This fit the bill. What would make this lamp a 5 star lamp would be if it had a retractable cord. Because of the unique base of the lamp you want to have it totally out in the open but there's all this ugly cord that you don't know what to do with. What I ended up doing is gathering it up and wrapping the extra cord in monkey tape and then taping it underneath the top of the base.
