New to granite sinks, but heard SchockHouzer was the best. I would agree. The texture is silky smooth, so much so that the dirt hardly sticks. Had it for about a month now, and if I just do dishes and rinse it out, it stays remarkably clean. Just a gentle wipe and a rinse, and it looks good as new. Even hard water spots just sort of brush off, they don't stick. The bronze color, initially I thought was too shiny, but once it was installed, it was perfect with my granite and my oil rubbed bronze faucets. If you want a granite sink, this thing is tip-top
