I ordered this pump to replace a failed 25 year old unit I had in my cistern. I prefer a submerged pump for this usage because it avoids the freezing problems many people locally experience with jet well pumps. It's also much quieter.
So far it's been entirely satisfactory in performance and was easy to install. Only time will tell how well it holds up but it arrived as advertised (quickly) allowing me to have running water again.
