Note the Amazon site shows a picture of a complete toilet and tank, when what is actually being sold is the lower bowl section without the water tank. I will be buying the tank separately and even then I'll spend about $100 less than what this toilet would have cost me locally. I did call Amazon Customer Service and noted that unless a customer read the description carefully, it would be easy to miss that this is not a complete toilet. I did all my research on Toto's site so I didn't bother to read the detail on the Amazon site.

This is a Toto's latest and greatest Drake ii model and now uses 1 gallon per flush compared to the other Drake ii models which used 1.6 and 1.28 gallons per flush. Once I get the tank and install, I'll come back and review the toilet's performance. Hopefully it will work as well as other Toto's that have been previously reviewed. I've used too many low water flush toilets that don't flush well and as far as I'm concerned, not worth the lower prices charged if you end up flushing 2 to 3 times to clear the bowl.

Installed the toilet about 2 days ago and it is great. With this I upped the reviews accordingly to the performance and not how Amazon put a picture of a complete toilet which mislead me to think it was a complete toilet that they were selling. I did find the matching tank at another Internet site for free shipping which saved me more than ordering the tank from an Amazon partner. Note the matching tank with a left hand flush and water inlet is a model ST453U.

The flush is powerful with a quick flip of the handle giving you a good fast flush that will take care of liquid waste. Hold the flush lever a little longer and you get an even bigger flush which should easily take care of more solid waste. I've not seen an installed low water toilet that has this much power.

Just as a tip, rather than using the traditional wax ring, consider the Sani-Seal which sells on Amazon for a little over $12. This is product is great since it allows you to reposition the toilet many times without ruining the seal. From what I can see, that seal can be reused if you have to pull the toilet for any reason. Note that the Sani-Seal comes with bolts and nuts. The water tank includes plastic washer covers for the bowl floor mount and the caps that fit over the trimmed bolts.

The toilet arrived in perfect condition. No issues there. The Toto box is inserted into a larger shipping box with a lot of foam inserts placed in the shipping box that protects the Toto box.
