We spent quite a bit of time looking at modern type faucets. We had a budget and ended up setting on this Blanco faucet. It met a smaller budget, it looked modern and simply, it has a pull out, and the finish matches our sink.

We found the faucet well built and the pull-out works well enough, with a little noise since it is ribbed. The handle fells solid and provides good control.

However, we found two items as cons:
1. The flow is weak. I had expected a stronger water flow for a kitchen faucet; definitely used to stronger flows. It takes a bit of time to fill anything that requires a moderate amount of water, such as a water pitcher. We end up placing the container on the sink while we wait for it to fill.
2. The faucet has two settings, spray and fill. While on fill, some water comes out from one or two of the spray jets. While this does not cause an issue, it looks odd and obviously does not work as it should.

I foresee changing this faucet out at some point in the future.
