First one arrived late and broken.....but called amazon and got immediate support. 2nd one came late but was in fine condition. Cant believe factory ships flat on a pallet...but it worked the 2nd time. Awesome product. Lousy instructions. but turned out to be quite easy to install. MAKE SURE WALLS ARE SQUARE if you buy and install this product. plus/minus 1/32" is probably ok.

I bought this Laser because it has the ability to do slope matching, and it works perfectly. The case protects the unit well, and the laser detector works and looks like a much more expensive model. If you are a full time pipeline contractor you would probably want a model that can be set to certain slopes automatically, but for us (small plumbing contractor) this one does the job nicely.

We spent many, many days looking for the right lighting for our new home and ran across these at a local store. After some research we decided to take the plunge and bought several Kichler matching pieces for the kitchen, dining, entry, hall, baths, etc.... not cheap, but super nice and super high quality. The builder's electrician said it was all top quality and he enjoyed installing these verses some of the cheap stuff out there. Everything from Kichler came as promised and we have no issues with any of the pieces purchased. I would recommend these if you want high quality lighting and I would buy them again, if I had to do it all over.

Side note, these can be mounted up or down... we chose down for our vanity lights and they work awesome.

This is my 4th Surefire Flashlight (different models, different purposes). Excellent build quality, excellent customer support. I have had occasion to contact customer support- someone answers promptly, the person answering speaks and understands English, they are empowered to resolve issues, and they do what they say they will do.
Understand that the infrared output of this device is essentially invisible to the unaided eye, it is intended to be used with night vision equipment. If you do not anticipate needing night vision gear, Surefire offers other models with similar white light output at lower prices. For me, changing from white to infrared is a 2 handed operation. Perhaps with more practice or stronger fingers, I will get better. If you need a good flashlight, and night vision capability, perhaps this is the unit for you.
